My absolute favorite space vehicle moc

Absolute favorite mocs found on Google and internet

I have collected pics of neo classic space vehicles.  I do not own nor did I do any of these pics....some of the pics I'm not sure where they came from or who did them so if I have made a mistake or not given appropriate credit just let me know and I'll fix this

I love the radar dishes as hubcaps and the huge size of the vehicle below; such a neat look and when red is used, really neat effect occurs like the old classic space wheels

This is so neat with bars and clips for roll over feature, from Flickr  "rover utility vehicle "
Beautiful take like 6950 above
Fantastic model above, like the size and use of red hubcaps

Above: Like the use of the mudflap type clip piece for the Wheelwell cover like in the Indiana Jones silver truck set
Like the small size above and the use if black and yellow like classic space used as highlights on the wings of sets 493 and 497

Above: We used to have a video game called moon rover and this rover above makes me think of that...like the bars connected to the wheels...like how the roundness is still like classic space theme of block/square pieces
Above: I think this is just amazingly built..I always like the inverted sloped window look
from flickr, "rovers"
Above: I like the curved front bumper and smooth contours of front and back and the bars and clips detail in between

I'm always a sucker for the vehicles looking like 6950, from Pinterest from Flickr

Love the cool buggy above! Lunar dune buggy, Jason Briscoe

The vehicle above is so compact but the detail is awesome.  How do people come up with such cool ideas!?!

I actually had time to make 2 mocs

 I can't believe I actually made 2 mocs, I've never had time...but lately I've had time.

I saw an Armored car on TV and I looked at radar vehicle in classic space

This is my favorite SMALL flying spaceship below
This is my favorite LARGE spaceship flying above the bases below !

So I combined the ideas for both spaceships  to make my moc below

I impressed myself!!!

The price is right...except at the big box stores

My favorite thing in the 80s was to leave my parents and look at the toy aisles....it was customary to look at each box of the same set to see if they made a mistake with the price tag...usually the ones in the back that had been put out earlier

My major find was a dollar off the spaceman set at gold circle...mom had to get me that!

I saved a dollar off the $3.99 price!!

Flash forward to 2 years ago at a big box store 12/26.  The price for set was 20$ or so off.  The compassionate highly focused cashier rang up the set and said it wasn't on sale "because that's not what the computer said" I went and got the tag on the shelf and brought it back to her...she said "I cannot believe you took that off the shelf" to which I said" well it's not doing anybody any good!". I thought the big box store security was going To get me booted out but they were arguing at the register about getting their employee discount on legos!

Hard work to get this set at big box store!!!

25$ vs 45$ ..I'm just lucky the computer didn't say $70 because thats what the wheel said

Ha ha I thought the price is right ended with the showcase showdown, the price was right for me, but it ended in the cashier/register showdown

A step up in life

So at home depot I saw a structure that I see in many neo classic space scenes.  The rail step up structure...

I don't know what my fascination with bars and clips from lego is, but the above structure combined with the following scenes from Top Gun and Star Wars make me of think one reason why...

Its always scenes of joy that show after a great battle is won where the hero gets out and celebrates.  People on the internet have built some of the best creations with bars and clips I've ever seen.
Some of these ideas I don't know who created but please let me know and I'll fix

Fantastic job to these builders.  Some of these pics make you imagine the mini fig pilot coming off their plane or building after victory in battle! (Ok, Some are just cool pics people have done with bars and clips!)

Aisles of paradise

I found them, the aisles of paradise..better than St. Croix or Bahamas...

Labelled aisle. Can't beat that!
On Target with this aisle

The aisle of misfit toys

Unsure if this was toilet paper aisle or clear out after Christmas

The aisles of before and after Christmas

The aisle of restocked inventory

Ahh, what these would look like full of lego
The aisles of paradise. What all lego lovers aspire to, the last aisle i would give anything to go to!!

MAYBE "AISLE" GET THERE SOMEDAY
More aisles of note...imagine the drawers full of legos

These are my favorite aisles...there's are hardware store that could be converted to a Lego aisle!
If only drawers of lego aisle
No lego ladder aisle
Lego factory aisle
Lego archive aisle
