Pick a brick addict

Random pieces and a key chain I would like on pick a brick...

This entry may be strange but I've wanted some pieces that are new to me from pick a brick and on clearance from the Lego website.

The first 3 technic pieces are new to me...(see comment seeking input at the end of this entry).
The remaining pieces are printed tiles which I collect.

I like the silver Keychain above.  I was going to add this to the pick a brick order...siver chrome pieces seem so rare to me.

I don't have either of the above pieces but the top piece would hold rod pieces in place.i.e. guns on a fighter jet or a pipeline.  It would also be good for greebling!  

I wanted the cup above because it just cracks me up...Lego thinks of everything!  Even minifigs like coffee :)

 The first piece in the pic above is a new piece I don't have many of.  It could be great for converting horizontal to vertical as done in some car sets esp. the Speed Champions line.  On the bottom of the above picture is another flat tile piece I don't have. 

The first 3 technic pieces in the first (top of blog) picture are new to me.  I would love to know what sets they are in and their function. Please post a comment if anyone has input!  I don't do much technic building.  Thanks.

The.only time Lego didnt help me

 I was a little upset at lego this date.  I got a pick a brick order.  The one piece was a computer type and it was a 2c2 piece...but it was/came as DUPLO.  There was no indication that it way to tell when I ordered.  Here's the screenshot

The service person said well, that's what you bought and that it was clearly stated...I told her even the packing slip doesn't show the duplo logo

I ended the call and got a rep who was more understanding and worked with me ... I just am clearing the record that I was right.  I never get to be right.

Make sure you don't get duplo on pick a brick.  The one clue I could have used would have been the open studs

Here's another interesting thing about duplo and regular lego together...A gun pointed towards duplo rail...why would the duplo be on the same page?

Joy, excitement, heart palpitations. Christmas present came!!!

 I am absolutely ecstatic...the second part of my lego pick a brick came. It was my Christmas present.  I'd been waiting and voila.  Here's pics of the most beautiful pics of legos ever!!!

1st part of my order that came weeks ago

So I combined the full order and it looked like this

I'm telling you, Heart palpitations!!! However the little lego paddles can put me back in rhythm!!

All these are going to help as my goal with these are to make the following 2 structures as made by 2 builders on the net

I wish I could have gotten all the pieces in light gray, but the contrasting colors of gray will add contrasts.
