Favorite lego show pics in 2015

Today I found pics of my favorite lego show in 2015.
I thought these pics were gone! Found these on a backup drive.

The show had millions of grade schoolers so i was racing to stay ahead of the kids...this was to get good pics.  The exhibit was at the Philadelphia science museum.  The models were made by Nathan Sawaya.

Update...I think my dino found in 2015 was bigger
Than Sue below!!!

When I went to school in Philadelphia there was not one day where someone in a car would roll their window down and ask where the liberty bell was!!!

My favorite house biught to life

My favorite house was brought to life

It is amazing how lego builders can model real life structures

There is a house that I passed often that intrigued me.  The lights are often off and there is no sign of any activity that i have observed.

I think it would be awesome to restore this house.  Recently I saw a model that shared some characteristics that made me loosely think of this house...obviously not exact but the doorway, chimney and arch in the model resemble the arch and door of the house I see.

I just thought it was neat that it resembled a house I liked when I'd pass by it everyday.  The stone work around the door amazes me as does the slope of the roof created by advances techniques!  I love this build...both real and in lego!

Lego fest

Alright, I went to lego fest when it was here

I thought it was for all ages but it was more for kids.  I felt rather awkward but some kids thought I was pretty good, I did build 1 heck of a model plane
Even as an adult you have to say thats pretty impressive!

The  pics above show families having a good time...nice to see
Love the triceratops, colors were great
Barney was cold turning blue vs. Purple
Lego, I am your father...not really
Who doesn't like Indiana jones....glad the boulder didn't run him over into pieces...

The car was just amazing, esp the stats on the sign with it.  Love how at that size, square bricks create curves on the front hood
