My attempt,or failire ean lack trying to sell lego

So I have so many legos I thought I'd try selling them

Now I should have seen it as am omen that no one commented from oct-27

Anyways I was optimistic to try selling at a tcg/,collectable show.

Mother in law helped me

In the end I sold nothing.  Lots of nibbles but no sales

Then a dad bought a $10 truck for his so.  I was so excited after 4 hours of sitting!

Then the man next booth over said I've been next to you and know you haven't sold anything all day and I felt bad for you.  Feeling like a failure...no sales, no comments on posts or blog.  I want attention!!!  I did get pretzel time nibbles.  $10 sales, $30 table fee and 15 for pretzel time.  Not a good day except met a lego store owner@

Thanks to Deb, Jan, Emily and nephews for all the hauling.

Couldn't walk day after due to sitting 4 hours

Here's my legoroom journey in Ai

Ai created my progress to a tee!  Hopefully it will progress to the last frame!  That person in the pics isn't me..I'm better looking.

The last two days in my lego room

I'm a little discouraged trying to set up a lego room in a wc.  It was so cluttered I couldn't even move and I can't lift containers to higher shelves.  So I'm trying to combine containers and I've tidied up enough to be able to move

I only did 20%...I had a neighbor help do 60% and an aide helped me finish the 20%.  80% was done 3 hours by other people and 7 hrs by me...so frustrated in a wc...

Per AI

Ai definitely enlightened me..it's going to be a long year and lots of help needed!  I figured a 1/2 year will be 365 days to an able-bodied person

Recently I've found boxes i forgot I had that are like going down memory lane

I enjoy looking at these but am a point where I bought some galaxy explorers and have more fun building those vs. Worrying about having the boxes.

Scams not blocked

Sadly I'm done with scammers on online selling sites.  I was going to try flipping but i give up; It's too dangerous and I didn't know til tonight if people drop ship, you could be held responsible for goods bought on stolen credit cards.  I didn't realize that sellers have the same risks of fraud as buyers.  I didn't know stock photos with 1 or 2 real pics are a sign of scammers bc they make their listing more real when there are more than stock photos.

So far 2 purchases for a total of about $125 have been lost..42 and 64$.  One gave me a tracking number but they send it to another place in the zip code.  Then they can show a tracking # and say package was lost

I think this happened twice bc I googled bennys spaceship next day after buying and it was the same price

profile of day 1 original seller..may be a stolen profile

photos of spaceship looked legit

when I figured out id been scammed I held out hope

Below:

This is the exact listing from what I bought the daY 1 that came up the day 2 after googling for more spaceships

Above 2 pics show Listing on a different website from day 2 mimicking day 1 listing on a day 2 separate profile.  When I messaged that I knew id been scammed the first guy never got back to me and the second person is stringing me along with a fake receipt that has a tracking number but the address he sent it to is cut off (he sent to a fake address in my zip so he can say usps lost it.)

I also bought 2 item saying light dust but it was a residue instead..it cleans up ok with wet ones.

For these reasons I see why people do cash only local pick ups. Shopping is hard because how do you know if it's a good price or a scam trick to lure you in.  All that glitters is not gold on these sites. :(   i dont recommend this flipping anymore..I did have a streak of good luck until last 2 transactions.  I got burned.

Jurassic park display

I got to go to the jurassic Park lego display this weekend.  I was able to see exhibits fairly well in my scooter but it was hard managing a lot of school kids.  The experience was good for kids being immersion in building i.e. different dinosaur footprints.  Here's pics I took

The ramp went up but stairs down..about 23 kids moved so I could get down.  Very polite kids

It was very original and showed how the models were made by "brickman" below

I felt this was the best display ive been to
