Scams not blocked

 Sadly I'm done with scammers on online selling sites.  I was going to try flipping but i give up; It's too dangerous and I didn't know til tonight if people drop ship, you could be held responsible for goods bought on stolen credit cards.  I didn't realize that sellers have the same risks of fraud as buyers.  I didn't know stock photos with 1 or 2 real pics are a sign of scammers bc they make their listing more real when there are more than stock photos.

So far 2 purchases for a total of about $125 have been lost..42 and 64$.  One gave me a tracking number but they send it to another place in the zip code.  Then they can show a tracking # and say package was lost

I think this happened twice bc I googled bennys spaceship next day after buying and it was the same price

Above 2 pics show Listing on a different website from day 2 mimicking day 1 listing on a day 2 separate profile.  When I messaged that I knew id been scammed the first guy never got back to me and the second person is stringing me along with a fake receipt that has a tracking number but the address he sent it to is cut off (he sent to a fake address in my zip so he can say usps lost it.)

I also bought 2 item saying light dust but it was a residue instead..it cleans up ok with wet ones.

For these reasons I see why people do cash only local pick ups. Shopping is hard because how do you know if it's a good price or a scam trick to lure you in.  All that glitters is not gold on these sites. :(   i dont recommend this flipping anymore..I did have a streak of good luck until last 2 transactions.  I got burned.

Jurassic park display

 I got to go to the jurassic Park lego display this weekend.  I was able to see exhibits fairly well in my scooter but it was hard managing a lot of school kids.  The experience was good for kids being immersion in building i.e. different dinosaur footprints.  Here's pics I took

The ramp went up but stairs down..about 23 kids moved so I could get down.  Very polite kids

It was very original and showed how the models were made by "brickman" below

Hooked on Marketplace

 Ive been buying legos out of control lately (mostly classic space)

It's been a busy 2 weeks.  On 8/10 I gave my pin to family so I cant by anymore.  There are just too many legos I want but dont need!

Almost got taken on facebook marketplace!

I thought i was being taken for a ride on fb marketplace.   Probably a good thing bc i was wanting more and more like an addiction 

 Here was the listing for  $50

The seller came back that night about the circled minifigures

The rest played out in Texts from marketplace 

I ended up getting everything I paid $50 for (the asking price) minus the 2 torsos

I'm so curious if I was overreacting by not giving the 2 torsos??I dont know.  I guess its the principle of changing what I paid for.

Industrial look! My favorite pics/topic!

 I dont know why but one of my favorite things to look at and make is scaffolding, trusses, towers, catwalks that have metal bars and clips to construct (industrial look).  I think it started when we went to a car factory where you could look down from a catwalk or mammoth cave crossing metal bridges and looking down.  There following pics from google show my favorite pics...I try to give credit to the people as its not my mocs.  First, me on a catwalks made from halo brand bricks
