Moving my collection of legos

Day 1 Moving my legos to a new house.

It took from 2:10 to 3:30 from a 16' uhaul with 4 people loading and unloading!

I put a picture from my camera to show the progress  unloading the uhaul (I blocked out faces for privacy)

Now to reorganize.  Some of the bricks weren't held upright in the small parts containers and I'm worried about alot of legos fell at the old house based on the transport out of the moving van.

My wife did go to the house and found this many legos on the floor

I was pretty upset with the situation. but will keep plugging away at sorting.  This has become a salvage operation.  I have to wait to see my collection in basement til I get my stairlift!

10 things I like and mostly continue throughout new models

Top 10 things I like about neoclassic vs classic space.

1) Radar dishes in wheel rims...never thought of this although tires and dishes come in more sizes though

2) smooth wing edges with thickness of sideways bricks..non lego set is shown for illustration only

3) Small "winglets" to give more shapes to simple wings

Without winglets

With winglets

4) tiles in curved shapes/shield pieces..New galaxy explorer

5) multitudes of pieces to greeble with i.e. trench run

6) incorporated older pieces...i.e. inverted sloped computers from set 493

7) simple colors continue with gray and yellow black accents also 1 shade of gray...light gray

8) use of original minifigs without the hideous new thick chinstrap

9) use of balance between simpler walls and greebling in space hangars

10) purpose of exploration collaborating and cooperation

So these factors make neoclassical an improvement to original classic space. Old pieces are used in a new way, pieces that didnt exist are incorporated to the old pieces.
