 I have pretty good knowledge of the names of lego pieces.  Here's some that I didn't initially know

Now I will say in my day, the aerial whips Above were the ski sticks.  (AND WE HAD TO WALK UP AND SKI UPWARDS EACH WAY!!! HA HA)
