Im afraid of the "Bogie"-man

I had never heard of a train bogie before.

It is the wheel component of a train...

From google images and http://www.railway-technical.com/trains/rolling-stock-index-l/train-equipment/electric-traction-control-d.html

There are multiple examples of these in lego train sets:

So the bogies above are good illustrations in black of train bogies.  So, this is just meant to be an educational post "for dummies" like myself.  Also when typing bogies, make sure the keyboard doesn't automatically correct to bodies!!!

I bought some of these on pick a brick but there werent axles so the rep at lego sent me some which was kind...just know that you need axles for the wheels

I don't know how lego got all those into 1 bag...impressive packing

Easier to see the wheels against light background

The box has the part number the axles came in!

The sad (somewhat lego related)truth about life and an ongoing hobby

A good family friend had the best train  layout for 1 collector that I've ever seen.  The layout was so big and neat and thought out.  I would love to have a lego layout this big and neat.

But the thing that is so sad is that the person passed before he could see the final set up.  The vision was there but there's just not always as much time as we want to finish our dreams...I feel the same way about my lego room.  I want to have everything sorted perfectly and a huge layout, but realistically time is finite and I may not be able to finish everything...it really hits you as you get older...  here's pics of the layout and work in progress

Notes about the trains were left
Above: Still finishing painting

Didn't have a train repair garage roof
Turpentine bottle on the tracks,!

So as with my lego room there's so many things I want to do but you just never know where or when your life will change or illness set in!  Sad but reality...so make and enjoy every moment!

Here's some things I'll do someday!

The clock is ticking!!!
